understood, but don't you think they owe it to listeners to put on a decent show? similar in my mind to dj's getting to drunk to play out and messing up sets etc. im all for having a good time but i reckon some level of professionalism (for lack of a better word) should be held
(with the assumption that most people find a lot of that banter irritating - who knows, maybe im the minority)

Nobody listens to a radioshow to hear a DJ yammering, I don't care if you're Jesus H. Christ himself on the tables. If I wanted to hear some public speaking, I'd attend a Toastmasters meeting.
