There a one page article in the Horror/Oct issue of Vice magazine, but I would go out of you way to find it if you want to find out more about Skreme. However it does have an interesting take on dubstep which seem to be It was a geeky nerd music but now it's cool because the Grime MC's like it. Personally I don't care what Vice think.

Vice magazine is for finding out how you go about being 'cool'
in other words it's a fecking stupid magazine, and you'd have to be a gimp to take it seriously - however if you don't believe a word it says, its damn, damn funny.

judging by their bottom line/revenue - they're making a fair bit of wedge...
obviously a demand for their style of content...and impressive for a bunch of stoners who put a mag together for the fuck of it

Word 'n' all that....first post up here - so be kind...but this one gets to me (perhaps its living within a stonesthrow of Shoreditch...)
Don't think Vice is really "thrown" together for the fuck of it! Those cats are making a serious amount of wedge. Their style actually used to be amusing while back - in the age of Mixmag twatty drug survey issues - but for me their "lets slag off anything in our oh so ironic way" magazine kinda pisses me off these days..
Fair play they've managed to convince the corporate giants they're the epitomy of cool and bagged large portions of their advertising budget - which unfortunately seems the only way to keep a music based magazine alive.
But, in the same way that its easy to bandwagon the next "coolest" thing its just as easy to slag off anything that moves. Is there really nothing of interest/value to write about these days?
Personally I can't stand their post-ironic fashionista, asymetrical, hattie collins this, chantelle fiddy that we're in it for the street kids stance.
As for taking themselves seriously - perhaps not but I bet their massively succesfful advertising consultancy ("Advice" - very clever) and US record label does...
Excuse the rant...

Vice make their stories up, change artists quotes and never, ever, out of principle, pay any of their freelancers. ever.
it's in the Daily Mail league of unpleasant publications.

i don't buy into the "life is fabulous" side of vice mag. what i do like about them is the general fuck you attitude. it's a bit more punk than 90% of mainstream conglomorate media. in the age of "feel good" journalism, where everything is about yoga and rice dieting.
