8) I first heard some plasticman Grime sets a couple of full earth rotations ago. liked it.
never heard much instrumentals again.
shopping for music. i dont know why,but i ended up buying the :sacred Symbols of mu 2cd album. I just got a surround system with a nice bass speaker. ide heard it by ripping it to my computer.
but when i played it on with a heavy bass :o :o sounded nice.
then i got the vexd album :D :D
my neighbour was cranking out some pop  dance
:| all the time.and ide had enough that day :x
so i just got this album that day.
and i drowned him out   with pop v.i.p and angel
I was hooked. I topped it up with 8 albums this month. tune wise, stuff from Random Trio has made me like it more.

had heard a bit of dubstep before that and didn't mind it, but after that, lights out, game over.

still can't watch that without getting a huge shit-eating grin on my face.

Monsoon.
Personally i wouldnt describe sacred symbols of mu a dubstep album, but there are a few good tracks, like 3rd choice and cognac.

Virus Syndicate live for Grime @ the end that I first d'l'ed mid 05, peaked my interest. Then Vex'd breezeblock slightly after then forensics and the tune in that particular mix that really grabbed me was distance-empire, dubstepwarz clinched it.

Kode9's babel mix from early 2005, particularly:

Digital Mystikz - Neverland
Burial - South London Boroughs
Loefah - Monsoon Remix

That Burial EP was what prompted me to start buying vinyl.

(and before that the Mark One - One Way album - found this mix through his name)
