The Ender co-op navigates the Post-Dubstep explosion, where genre boundaries continuously melt and morph, allowing mutant strains of rave/disco/UK hardcore/soul/house/acid/garage and hip-hop to emerge, loosely glued together by a futurist intention and lashings of sub-bass.
Ender is a new local record label born from the flourishing Brisbane bass scene. With an artist roster of local and international producers frying up low-sl...ung frequencies, colour saturated synth work and swerving drum rhythms, the future of the label is in exuberant hands.
To launch things in fine style, White Rhino and Ender present one of the most anticipated producers of the Post-Dubstep movement; The UK’s DEADBOY. Signed to Glasgow’s eponymous ‘Numbers’ label, his debut release “If you want me” became an anthem of 2009, smashing through genre divisions and finding its way into the crates of Giles Peterson, Modeselektor and Kode 9 to name a but few. Blistering mixes for FACT Mag and the legendary US magazine XLR8R, followed, proving that Deadboy had infinite rounds of Dj firepower to back up the surging hype.
In support, the Ender artist roster gets a full rinsing with live performances from local producers ELROY 4.0 and PUZAHKI. Flying in from Christchurch will be NZ’s EPOCH and DJ sets will come correct from Dank Morass’s WALRII and Ender creator and bossman, HERTS.
This is going to be a properly fucking sick party with lots of exclusive label giveaways on the night. So bring some crew and come and be a part of it!
