every time I start to lay down a beat I create a buildup to a chorus, and then I get stuck. For example:
Soundcloud
I just find myself at a deadend. Suggestions to alleviate this nuisance?
Edit: Updated with more :] thanks for the help, hope you enjoy!

- Get out there and get your blood moving. Do something creative in a different medium (paint, write etc) and listen to your favorite music for inspiration. If all you can come up with is simple songs then write something simple, then make it sound even more exellent with fx/ mastering/ ambiance.
Listen to my mixes.

When you get stuck, thats a sign you should create an ambient breakdown. Maybe go into a half time slow, low rhythm and double it back up for the drop. Being stuck means it time to get creative and morph your tune into some hybrid double time crazy kick drum @ the same tempo. Do something unexpected and throw your audience for a loop. Who knows, maybe it'll give you an idea for something else. Point is being stuck is just your mind telling you, its time to be spontaneous and write something wacky and unexpected. Break out of the mold.
Or maybe you just need new speakers/ monitors.
