So lately I have been using Reason 4 rewired into Ableton, but honestly I hate the workflow. Automation is a pain in the ass and keeping track of 2 documents can get tiresome. So I was thinking about getting komplete 7, but I have heard that NI's synths can be complete cpu hogs. I have a macbook pro with 2.4 Ghz i5 core processor, 320 gb HD at 5400 rpm and 4Gb or ram. Can my setup run the Komplete 7 package smoothly? If not I think I will just upgrade to Reason 5 because their software seems to be very stable and not cpu intensive. What are your suggestions?

i would get record for reason owners, it only cost a little more than the standard reason 5 upgrade and it makes rewire a lot better because the record mixer has individual outputs. you also get neptune and some other cool stuff.
