You know how people talk about “beginners luck”, well how does it work that someone trying something for the first time can sometimes be better than a so called “expert” in that field? Because the experts mind ain’t fresh or open so maybe it doesn’t see the thing as clearly as the beginner, and maybe it isn’t as flexible as the beginner’s mind. Approaching music in this way results in more interesting sounds I found.

Never thought of this. I've thought that beginners can often create something an expert can't because they see things differently, but I've never thought of approaching making a tune as a beginner each time.

I did cop the keysound plate, but I gotta admit I've been slacking on these guys hard (same with the Circle house crew).

I'm gonna get ALL those mixes on their facebook and just go nuts with it for a while.
Anyone ever download EVERY single archive mix off joenice.net? I even copy and pasted the tracklistings onto my ipod.

Not your fault they've been slept on, they don't make a lot of fanfare, they just put their signal out there and we're lucky to be able to tune in! Their united vibes shows have been rocking it since 06.. Great crew!

United Vibes & LHF are pure class. Solar Man's tunes are fucking incredible, can't wait for EP2!

edit: Anyone know what became of the rest of United Vibes 10th Anniversary mixes? I got the first three and Blackdown said there was gonna be more but never heard any more about it?
