Like most electronic music aimed at the pop charts it's electro. Bares little resemblance to dubstep imo.

yes I would say it is...
but not the kind I'm into... I don't feel tunes with catchy sopran poppy "i love you, you don't love me" and vice versa lyrics...
but that's just me I guess I would love to see the psychedelic, dark music enter mainstream without the need for adding "Britney Spears" on it, to make it comercially sucessful...

you need to fill out the proper forms in triplicate and mail them to the international dubstep committee to be placed for a popular vote for determination of it's status

hmm i dunno i kinda like it. its poppy and not usually what im into but i am a sucker for some chick vox.

bassboy is a bassline producer which would explain the 'poppy' vocals but people are gonna have different views on what it's called, doesn't really have any significance

That percussion patern sounds like it's ripped from another tune. Geeneus - Dark Boy sounds exactly like it.
