main forum is shit i think most ppl who visit snh barely even go there anymore.
i do occasionally under the pretense of ' finding new music' but tbh i find better stuff here anyway.

Never browse that part of the forum, its full of the stnuc that make me embarrassed to be part of this scene.

I imagine most people in the SNH hate that part of the forum in the same way that the production forum hate on us...

the main forum's not all bad. d1 just gave away 28 unreleased tracks these past couple of weeks you just get new users trying to be the big man by making a thread about elitism, as well the odd troll here and there. but there's still a lot of useful stuff to be found there

Problem with the main forum is that it's too big - "dubstep" denotes such a fucking huge variety of sounds now that it really does need at least two forums for it. Joenice's post in Seckle's thread about splitting it into two, one forum for genuine dubstep and another for tearout, was a decent idea.

I do think it's a shame that thread was dead until he started giving tunes away

the main forum sucks because the mods don't sort shit out
90% of the crap that pops up there belongs in the dubs or mix section
you get people who comes up with all these "great" ideas that last for all of a couple days before it's back into chaos
wasn't it just a few months back that there was a sticky announcing all tune links that weren't releases belonged in the dubs section unless it was a release. look how well that's going
this board at least has some semblance of order, and no the production forum doesn't hate it
we just hate the poor trolls who frequent this side who try miserably to be funny or post obvious wind ups

that would make things worse imo. it would make things an 'us vs them' sort of thing, and you'd get flaming from both forums
