LOL.. I knew someone would jump on that.. they are screwed onto the stands but yes its a joke ay? its all I have until I build my units to put it all on..
But surprisingly enough they are pretty damn sturdy..

Got some shite Vestax CDJ's and a shite Vestax mixer with a dodgy cross fader. I'm poor, need a new setup, but it does the trick atm.

mine's in
this thread but the pictures aren't all that clear
i'm mixing on a pair of technics and an ecler nuo3 mixer, with serato running on a macbook and using alesis m1 active mk 2 monitors for sound. hardly ever use serato though because i loves me vinyl too much
sort those speakers out mate - that's a crime against sound haha

Yeah they are!
These are the Pioneer 100s. They're tougher to mix on than other pioneers (more manual) though to be honest I see that as a good thing.. never had any problems/complaints with them apart from people used to the 800s and 1000s who don't like having to actually mix

Are those monitor speakers? I mate of mine has always told me hi fi speakers will always be better for mixing. I dont really know shit about sound or speakers so what would you say to this?

yeah they're monitors, i got them before i bought decks so it wasn't ever my intention to be mixing on them
it depends on the speakers whether or not they're worse. truly flat sound can make your ears tired so if you have really top end monitors then it can be bad for your ears when mixing
i'd like to get a decent amp and high end speakers at some point but these do the job well enough for now

decks and mixer on the greatest blanket of all time; monitors on the sides, sub and records under the table. takes up a quarter of my kitchen

unless you are a turntablist, why do you have your decks battle style?

I have my turntables battle style simply because there is not enough space the usual way round!
