yeah could be true, although i never ever get tired of hearing silkie, mala, distance, coki, stagga, etc tunes.. but these 'bangers' get boring very quickly i must say ..
buuut these kind of tunes are offcourse way more accessible to the 'dont know' ppl..

Yes indeed, i can agree with that, POP music, which is most of the time not entirely produced by the producer himself but layed upon him what he SHOULD produce, and thats one of the things i dont like about POP music, it should be entirely up to the producer to create a song, but nooo, we have to get as many ppl to LIKE/GET INTO the music and by that they're losing the credibilety/honesty of the song, in my opinion

those tunes would be so much nicer if played as dubplates, then it would be so nice to hear one of those tunes, once in a while..
