Highlight in the end was the flip of last year happening and Mass full by ten pm so the promoter gave us 3rd Base and you could wander between the two. The real party was downstairs - big up Chef and LD for that set (SECKLE, YER GUILTY!!) I kept trying to go back upstairs but it was all about 3rd Base vibes.

I swear mass wasn';t as weighty as it has been before, 3rd base was sounding really nice tho. Tunes of the night were "the V" and Jah war remix.

Ack, my legs hurt. It's been a while since I did a 9 hour rave now.

Pinch & Distance did it for me the most this time around. Distance kept Pinch from going too minimal, and they both managed to adapt their styles to each other very well. Memory Loss, V, that gobsmacking guitar riff-tune halfway into the set and Cyclops = good times.

The award for the most shameless self-promoter goes to Benga, who played almost nothing but his own tunes, and rewinded every single one of them.

And yeah, tune of the night undoubtably goes to 50000 Watts (Loefah Remix), despite Lean Forward getting played about four times. Absolutely stupid drop. Too bad that it was close to impossible to move in Mass by the time Loefah and Mala came on.

Too bad I didn't get to meet anyone this time either (apart from one guy whose nick I am too knackered to remember atm. He was nevertheless skanking to the best of his ability on crutches, big up yourself!), but still a good time out indeed.
