LEEDS:TROPICAL - 10th NOV - GIRL UNIT/GREENA + MORE @ WIRE

For November's dose of Tropical action we are pleased to bring you not just one but TWO Leeds debuts!
First up, we welcome the incredible Girl Unit to Wire. Responsible for producing the year's biggest anthem, the phenomenal "IRL", and a string of brilliant remixes for C.R.S.T, Marcus Price & Buraka Som Sistema's Enchufada label. His sets, like his own productions, are an amalgamation of various US street bass sounds including Miami bass, electro, ghettotech, Chicago house, and US hip-hop and R&B, which he then distills into an abstract, 808-driven house template. This 24-year old DJ/Producer will simply blow you away!!!
Next up we have Greena. This man first came to our attentions with his fantastic debut release, Tenzado, on Appleblim's Applepips label earlier this year. He then put together one of, if not THE best mixes we've heard for the online magazine XLR8R. Blending together the likes of Omar S, Villalobos, Bok Bok, Jam City, Karizma & Terror Danjah all with an effortless and seamless style.
Not only that but we have local boy Jamie Grind. He's recently been causing quite a stir with his debut release on the Infrasonics imprint and now with his new night Modulate.
