Bassic welcomes Joe Nice back to Boston for what will be yet another heavy night of acetate-fueled vibes.
It's the return of JOE NICE, America's Ambassador of Dubstep! He's here to rock Boston even harder than last Halloween. And if you weren't there, then you don't know just how hard you're gonna get hit!
Joe Nice is a 31-year-old Baltimore Dubstep DJ. The most famous American DJ playing Dubstep, Nice founded New York's irregular Dub War club night, which has hosted performances by British Dubstep artists such as Hatcha, Youngsta, Kode9, Mala, Loefah, [Instra:Mental, Skream, Brackles, Kryptic Minds, Shackleton] etc. He performs regularly in New York, London (including at scene pillar DMZ), and elsewhere. He first heard Dubstep in 2002, at the Baltimore venue Starscape, and began playing it that same year. He has been praised for his charisma and stage presence. In 2005 music journalist Martin Clark also praised him for his access to new dubplates (in contrast to other American Dubstep DJs) and willingness to play tracks by lesser-known producers. In 2007, Nice was selected as one of URB magazine's "Next 100".

Grizzly is a dubstep producer and DJ from Boston, MA. He caught the dubstep bug in 2006 while overseas serving time in the U.S. Military, and he has never looked back. Scotch1 grew up on mix tapes ranging from Dj Hype to DJ Dan. He began playing records in 1998, and has since played shows from Boston to Bali, with countless venues and parties in between. His main rule when playing: crowd control. From low-profile mood setters, to in your face smashers, Scotch1 can keep any dance floor filled.
And the opening duties will be brought to us by Vice T of the Subduction crew. Those subduction crew have been making moves bringing in the big guns like Roska, Pangaea, Dubbel Dutch & XI to Beantown.
As is always the case with a BASSIC Halloween proper attire is not required but highly recommended! There will be possible goodies for those that dare to be different and excite with costumes of gore, glory, or where ever their imagination may take us.
