Rio de Janeiro... amazing city. I spent a week there and it was the perfect amount of time.
Berlin is a good shout, but that could easily be done as a weekend break, and on a much lower budget.
You can go kuala lumpur now for bare cheap on air asia and then get a flight to practically anywhere in asia from KL airport. You'd probably blow about 600 on flights per person though...

trust me its fucking wicked out there, stuff that both you and your lady can enjoy. assuming you like hot weather, beaches, some interesting culture and scenery if you wanna explore (definitely get a guide tho) and some pretty sweet beach parties

I dont get to go away often so if I do I want to go somewhere that will be in my memories forever. Somewhere with culture and adventure would be my type of thing.

I dont want to do a typical beach holiday but would consider going to a tropical island but im thinking something like a safari or a cruise. Iceland does look amazing, skiing, the northern lights etc
