Hey! thought I would introduce myself...

I am a producer/guitarist from Sheffield, UK. I have been producing music/playing in bands of various genres for many years, but recently I have really been getting into dubstep...but I am a metalhead at heart, so here is my attempt at blending Metal with Dubstep. I know it may not be to everyones taste, and it has been done (to varying success) but heres my spin on it, check it out you might be surprised! Feedback welcome? (Just so you know all the guitars are played by myself and are not samples)

Interseting concept, wmd sounds cool, not the sort of stuff i'd play out, prefer the deeper subbier side myself but this sounds good man, bigups.

Cheers dude, nice to get some feedback, I know my stuff sits in uneasy water and I wasn't too sure what the dubstep scene would make of it, but so far its been mostly positive. Alot of the dubstep/metal stuff I have heard has come accross a bit cheesy and tends to be existing metal tunes remixed, as opposed to original tunes written with the guitars as an intregral part of the tune rather than an after thought. Hope that comes accross in what I am trying to do.

Deffinately, that is why it works, you haven't let go of your roots and you've not been overly temted by the plerithora of shit dubstep out there. It's good to see a new artist pushing new stuff and not recycling old ideas.

Thanks, glad someone gets what I'm trying to do, as I feel there is alot of common ground between Dubstep & Metal (for example the core dubstep beat is a beat used alot in Rock/Metal) so blending to two just seems to work...

Anyway more tunes on the way soon, watch this space!
