A: Motor Mouth.
‘Motor Mouth’ sees cogent exploring more of a dark/future garage vibe; with its 2 step backbone and heavy stomping bass action, this track packs some punch. Layers of dark synth lines, funky horn licks and a sprinkle of female vocal bytes, add the finishing touches to this beast of a tune, reminiscent of the 2001 / 2002 garage era.

‘Samurai dub’ blurs the boundaries of the 2 step, breakbeat and UK garage sound. Taking pace at 138 bpm, ‘Samurai dub’ is a melting pot of sounds and styles, fusing swung beats, brutal breaks and wonky basslines. Add Berlinesque stabs, dreamy synths patterns and lashings of glitch & bleep FX’s and you’ll be somewhere near to the sound of this hybrid electronic smash.
