It's a shame that our relations with pakistan have soured so much recently. But really there is an easy out for america in this situation: Provide relief for the damage caused by the devastating floods from the summer, and don't just throw cash at it, get men on the ground. Gain confidence in america, gain confidence in their gov't (and shit do they need it), we can continue giving them financial aid and they'll be inclined to do what they promised a long time ago: eliminate al-qaeda.
