I know what a soundclash is but he didnt really give any idea where it would be or ect. did he?
America = a pretty big, vague place. Im not driving to L.A. for a soundclash for example, but east coast options... different story.

invite duck down records.. if this is an american thing we need hip hop repped like d'n'b is repped in london
and duck down records just annihilated LPR for their CMJ showcase tuesday night.. those beats and that roster of MCs is too much...
dubwar will win anyway

Drum and Bass is part of uk bass culture which is why Metalheads were competing.
This is a soundclash not a turntablist battle. Bass music not hip hop.

Your assuming they will step up.
Let's get the event off the ground before making speculations.

im just spouting shit...
but on the hip hop tip, i'm not talking about turntablism. do yourself a favor and check a live dj evil dee set and then tell me he isn't working harder to hype a crowd than 98% of dance music DJs. just like reggae and drum and bass are featured in a UK sound clash because they are a big part of the music culture there, hip hop should be featured in a US sound clash for it's clear influence on the culture.
you can't tell me guys like starkey & matty g aren't influenced by hip hop in some way, whether conscious or not.
to me, bass music also features stuff like the beat scene in LA, juke & footwork in chicago, some detroit house, b-more, ghetto.tech
bassweight v beat v juke/ghettotech v hiphop v brostep would be something special, and more in vein with what red bull is doing.
my 2 cents anyway

Shouldn't this be done behind closed doors, no the surprise factor has gone, when people start seeing flyers for it.
