Following the successful and acclaimed "The Dub Box" series, Bologna's Dbox Records is back with a string of new EP/Singles focusing on single artists, first of whom is Sardinia's Maurs. "Its Over EP" showcases a wide range of styles and vibes, providing tunes which can appeal to the most diverse DJs and crowds, ranging from the tear-out banger "Its Over" to the post-rave beyond-chilled tones of "All for you". Also in the EP "Atomic Absorbance Spectrum", a good all-rounder rich in those sub-bass wobbly routines to skank to, and the future garage number "4su", featuring prominent lush strings and intricate swing-ey grooves, mixed with authentic warm mediterranean flavors.

Artist Bio:
Mauro Picciau aka MAURS was born in 1985 in Cagliari, South Sardinia, Italy. Drum'n'bass and dubstep producer/DJ, he's part of DNBCAST and has been involved in Cagliari's scene for a few years. He dazzled around hiphop, heavy metal, techno and electro and eventually drum'n'bass around year 2000. A few years later, he threw himself into music production, both developing his own style and deriving inspiration from big names such as Roni Size, Goldie and so on. Until 2008, with his maiden release on Modulate Recordings, produced together with ArpXP. Same year he had his first release on Dbox, produced together with Maver (on the to be re-released remastered soon Italian Bassline IB4 compilation). So far he had various releases on labels like Gamma Audio, Elastica, JopStepDivision, Modulate, Nu Labels and On2Sides and future is definitely looking bright for this eclectic and talented producer, go MAURS go!!!
