I'm running Fl Studio 9 and Massive and was just wondering is it possible to link one automation clip to multiple instances of Massive?

I dunno if you can copy automation clips like in Ableton and Reason - one of the reason's I never got into Fruity is cause I though the automation options were shite - I think you'll probably have to put in some hard work and set up a different automation lane for each one :4:

Haha oh today's youth with cracked FL Copies. Guess we all start somewhere lol. I actually tried the beta (Yes I own FL) and found it to be quite buggy. A lot of things have little glitches in them or do not work properly. So I wouldn't recommend switching completely over to it. Can't wait till it is officially released.

yeah, that's also a tip for producing in general. I've been at that place when you just start producing and think all DAWs will be perfectly suited to make everything you want to do very simple, and to be fair you probably spend some much time looking for the easy way out you might as well have just done the long complicated method!! I suppose after time you just realise that putting in that extra effort really makes the difference in a track. And, in all honesty, that's probably the biggest difference between us guys and the pro's (maybe more talent too -w- ).

FL's Automation use to be my to be my biggest enemy. Now I use it a lot. Once I learned how to use it, its super straight forward.

Right click - delete point
right click on tension - set tension to 50% (straight line)
shift click - create Square waves and corners for precise automating
and just edit the snap to grid settings.
Make unique - creates a seperate automation for the one your using, so you can customize it more without affecting the other similar automations.

Can I say more?

Yes, it is.

Create a new automation clip, move the knob on one massive you would like to automate, and go to tools > Last Tweaked > Link to controller, and select the automation clip you made. then just keep doing this for all the knobs you want to automate, any automatable parameter can be linked to that automation clip.

btw, are you the evasion that produces hardstyle?

Not sure if this applies to you op but if you wish to create a new automation for the same parameter all you have to do is tools>last tweaked>create automation clip and this will place a new automation clip on the timeline for you. If you try to duplicate an automation by "painting" it somewhere else and making changes it will affect all of the automations. For example...I want to bring the levels down in my mix. Right click > new automation. BAM! right click>new automation again and BAM a whole new automation for higher levels. Hopefully this helps.

Yes, you can link anything to everything. Just use link tyo controller, select your clip and be sure to uncheck "remove conflicts"

If you wanna copy the same automation to several massives go tools last tweaked edit events in new window do your automation shiz then check the icons in the top bit and you can save that automation so you nip back to your other massive last tweaked blah blah then open the automation previously saved think this is exactly what your wantin soz for shit typing high...
