Garage/House Keys

Looking to recreate this kind of noise (comes in at about 1 min)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5U3A3tMQJ4

Quite a few tunes use it, especially bump and flex remixes and I could probably find a track that I could sample it from but always looking to improve my synthesis skills. I tried a few combination of squares, saws and tris and put an envelope with a short decay on the filter cutoff but not having much success.

Any help appreciated,

Alex.

do you mean the organ sound?

i would find an organ plugin or just look for electric organ presets.

if you want to synthesize sounds like this look into additive synthesis and start with sine waves.

We have a winner

Nothing magic about this sound, it's all over all the garage/2-step tracks of the era, it's a preset on the Korg M1 - if it ain't broke...

Meaning - the preset is great, that's why no one bothered to change it

Sounds organish is to me. I know there is a patch in Z3ta that sounds like that. Most top vst synths come with some sort of organ waves (I know albino does) so try messing around with those. Maybe add some square waves too at higher octaves with a lp filter. Just my guess.
