NEIGHBOURHOOD @ PLASTIC PEOPLE - WED 8TH DEC 2010, 9PM - 1AM!

One third of former promoter trio 'Medium' returns with a new venture entitled 'Neighbourhood'. The concept is simple- Good music brought to you via our community. In this ever developing musical landscape we've reached a point where genres are no longer restrictions & artists are operating outside of their usual fields and at Neighbourhood we will be celebrating this. The chosen venue is Plastic People, in our humble opinion, the best small club in the world, possibly the galaxy! The music policy is open to the selectors, with the focus on bass led music.

For the first party, Neighbourhood have picked some of their favourite artists to come and do their thing. Heading things up we have Icicle and Youngsta. This will be the first time the pair have performed b2b live after the numerous Rinse FM shows they’ve done together. They have also been busy in the studio working on new projects that will no doubt be aired. Pearson Sound, otherwise known as Ramadanman will be bringing us his unique take on the house sound. After dancing the night away to his tremendous set earlier this year he had to be invited to play at the Neighbourhood premiere. The unique & talented Rockwell will surprise us with a mixed selection of his choice, which we are very much looking forward to. LX One and Toast are the perfect hosts for this special occasion, who will come with their complimentary smooth style and of course a lot of banter!

I definitely would of made it on the 8th but i'm away then, I would lock in tonight too but I'm playing on Axe FM at exactly the same time

Will definitely reach a future night though, plastic people is one of my favourite venues.

Brilliant night. So nice to see there are still nights going on with a almost homely feel to them where people are there to listen to good music and just be generally friendly. I look forward to the next one. Big up Tasha and all who were involved in making last night happen!
