Wanted to post this on here to see what you think of this interview I did with Borgore?

His style as a producer does seem to be maturing and I think this gives a good insight to him as a person which is a side we rarely get to see away from all the attention he gets as being a controversial DJ/Producer...

Good guy, good producer. Might not like his music so much but he definitely knows what he is doing.

i usually dont have anything bad to say about this guy but

"so I played various instruments along the years, mastered different genres and then got to the point that one sort of music is just not enough for me."

mastered genres? no matter the genre saying that is pretty big headed haha

you don't master genres. you develop them.

but if he's talking musically with instruments, fair play.

he knows what he's doing. he just doesn't put any heart into his music.

i'd put borgore in the same category as most death metal bands nowadays. all technical ability but no songwriting ability. he's making boring electronic death metal.

maybe if he sampled some old r&b records and used more 808s...
he's been doing his one thing for a hot minute now and pretty much pioneered his own sound which takes a lot more heart than the generic followers and people cashing in on the popularity now (skrillex)

i just don't get the lack of willingness to accept peoples views on your music

it doesnt mean they 'hate' you personally as they do not know you personally, all people have to go on is your music and it isn't even necessarily about style, i love lots of music that uses nasty noises...vex'd thunder doesn't get 'hated' on by people from behind a screen.

the interview seems to have the agenda in mind to point out how people are wrong to express an opinion

It's gone above and beyond 'expressing an opinion' towards Borgore over the years though. I'm sure he can handle criticism but nonstop hatred (which is really what it is) and claims that he puts no effort or 'heart' into his music AND getting one of your laptops ruined because somebody dumped beer out on it at a gig is more than expressing your opinion.

Give the guy a break.

I didn't set out with the agenda of proving that people's opinion is worthless or anything like that but the guy has obviously been made to feel that people are hating on him rather then his music or at least that's the way it seems which is shame but then again but I do think the whole "Borgore ruined dubstep" thing is a bit of a strange title and this makes me think he loves the attention at the same time with making statements like he does... he's a random guy but a very intelligent one.
