maybe's he's at work. it's generally employed people who actually buy their software...

....possibly?

Employed people also usually have internet.

Anyway - it is made quite clear that an internet connection is required to activate the software. And certainly, if I am spending over £100 on something I double & triple check the requirements.

tbh i can think of at least 10-15 people i know personally who are employed but don't bother having a home internet connection (and they have their reasons, as weird as some of them may be).

but in any case, there's always a chance that the op:

a) is lying, and in fact didn't buy it
b) isn't employed

ah well.

**and yeah, op, isn't there some kind of "offline installer" or whatever they call it? i know some software have some shit like that.

If you've bought the software, I don't see any moral or ethical reasons to prevent the install of the crack. You will of course be violating the LAW.

Personally I thought they had an offline registration process.

You could try installing it onto your work laptop, then moving it over to your production computer? Don't know if this will work or not but could always give it a shot.

If the production computer that you are using isn't connected to the internet and you need to activate the product online, why don't you just TEMPORARILY connect that machine to the internet for the activation?

So remove the virus?
Move all of your essential software on a different partition, format your main partition, and throw 7 on that bitch. Takes an hour and a half TOPS.
