I didn't really know where to put mixing questions, so if this is misplaced, go ahead and move it.

Anyway. I recently upgraded from Torq to Traktor (so, so happy about it), and I've found a weird little problem. Whenever I start it up, it won't register my decks with the control vinyls. I restart it, and it works fine. I can't for the life of me figure it out after 2 weeks of running over it. Anyone know what might be going on here?

do the scratch panels show a signal?

did u install software from CD or download newest?

best is to download newest and try that. You havent said if you're on a mac or a pc, laptop or desktop. PCs are more likely to have issues as there can be hardware & configuration conflicts.

Is Traktor a lot better than Torq? I'm gonna plump for a Digi DJ setup soon. Have used Serrato and Traktor, like em both, Traktor so much cheaper tho

Same issues with mine. But I can't even get my turntables driver to be installed keeps failing (NuMark MixDecks).

ay did ya set ya outputs & inputs in the preferences?? Thats the only things that got me stuck when I got mine... are you using an externl mixer?
