@soosh21 - Vocal samples sound good, I'm listening this on my laptop speakers right now and i don't hear any kick drum... I'm sure it's there but i guess it ain't loud enough. But I love the feel you got going on with the drums. Also a bit of variation wouldn't hurt. The vocal sample in the intro is everywhere... Gets boring in my opinion.

Ok... Here's mine. It's a different kind of track. Drumstep and dnb with some awesome dubstep at the end...

Shoosh21: Great vibe to this tune. I like the sample used although it sounds almost a little TOO grainy. Thats really me just finding something to nit pick though

ILV: Get production quality and talent, but I find the flow is lost a bit with the amount and style of glitching you use. Makes it a little trickky to dance to in my opinion. But dancing aside, awesome listen!

@ soosh21 - Wicked chill track, sounds like the soundtrack to walking around really stoned on your own in the summer.

@ ilv1 - Wahhh - Big. The wobble is a touch hectic but in a good way I suppose - proper hype business. I like the tempo drop at the end.

@ Thuun - Sick wobble and beat + the delayed synthy things. Maybe reverb everything up a touch to fill out the track. Abigtune. Good work on the double time beat, nice pace.

@Thuun: Love the intro and the drop... But the main buzz should be a little harder... With more bass maybe or an octave lower? Overall it' a good track. Great rhythm change at 3.32!

@daddy mchectic: Nice relaxing feeling... The wobble sounds a bit high perhaps but that's no problem... It's an awesome song! Love the automation on that high pitched background sound...

Left feedback and posted my tune before I went out, then got back and saw I had posted in the works in progress thread and not this one, ha. So will start again, (listening in headphones now tho)

@ketamine - This isn't really my cup of tea, but produstion sounds cool, there's a lot of panning going on, feels a bit mad when listening in headphones, as there's lots of sounds coming in from each side. Maybe try adding a bit more variation into the percussion, as it seemed to be the same hi hat rhythm all the way through, just got a bit repetitve for me.

@daddy mchectic - Proper feeling this tune, nothing bad to say at all, all sounds proper tight. That lead synth part at the end is sick too, wasn't expecting that, but sounded tight!

@Thuun - Intro is top! Production sounds tight, everything sounds nice and crisp. Loving the drums on this, again nothing negative to say at all.

@ilv1 - This is hectic! Not sure what to think of this if Im completely honest, I kinda really like it, but at the same time, it sounds like Ive got a tune on my decks thats supposed to be at 33rpm and have it playing at 45rpm, which Im unsure about, ha. The production sounds tight, have some real nice sounds going on, nothing real negative to say. Just not sure if Im into it, maybe just a little to crazy for me, but thats just personal preference.

@soosh21 - Not really my kind of tune, but I did like parts of it, heard some cool different noises you had in there tho, kinda like pots n that getting played, liked the noise that sounds like a fly too, that was cool. Thought the kick drum was quite low in the mix, was quite hard to hear and the vocal seem to go on a bit to me, maybe take it out in a few parts so when it comes in its has more of an effect, was quite a nice tune tho.

As I said, Im listening in my headphones at the mo, so not the best to critique work on, but I hope any of what I said helps.

Ok, now Im on the right thread, here's my latest tune, I'm waiting to get an MC on it, so its not completely finished, but thought I'd post it up and get some feedback on it as it is,

@ Skaven, First off This ain't my cup of tea. I like the bleepy bits in the intro, and the bassline at 0.56 I wished that bassline stayed in the track. The mix sounds very aggressive, and in your face. I don't really like the track imho, but Im sure some of the guys on here will.

@ Ketamine, leave some feedback bro... As this track stands I don't really like it, it does sound a little bit like juke with the sort of rhythm, but it don't have that mad energy. With some work on the the beat, and the mix this could be a alrite track.

@ Daddy Mchectic, this track surprised me a bit, I thought it was going to be some mad brostep track looking at the waveform. Really nice vibes you got here, the breakdown is very good. The Mix sounds good to me, the only thing I think you might want to change is the arrangement, make it longer.

New soothing track by me:

this is really nice mate, love the crackly hip hop vibe it has.

i listened to all the tunes so far, the juke on is pretty cool too, big bass and not so spazzed out that i got pissed off with it.

as for the other tunes, i respectively can't comment as it really isn't my thing, way to aggy and dubstepish for me, but they do sound like the kind of thing that's popular and making people go mad.

here's a tune i did recently, it's garage, but with a kind of space age melodic twist.

@Ket, second the hihat bit but love the panning, serious tune dude, keep at it, your good at this juke thing, hooke it up with some 320s man, Ive bbeen working some into my sets where possible!

Soundcloud

Illdrop this here and get some mre feedback when theres not just like 9 posts, wtf guys, slow day for production or somethin?

Wrote this out in a few hours last night, havin a rough couple and had to channel it somewhere, so it came out fast... Im not to sure about my mixdown because I am adapting to a new, less appealing monitoring situation, so if anyone has any input on that? Giving out 320s to non-phishbots.

So yeah... be back later with more feedback, granted anyone writes anything.

@skaven

tight production. slow paced and angry. i like it, good variation as well, keeps the tune intresting in a good way.

not sure about the kick. bit low in the mix or its not cutting through enough. its got punch but its not standing out enough i think. other than that its a great track. looking forward to some emcee part to it.

@daddy mchectic

nice track, great vibe. love the synth melody at 2:43. think it might sound nice added in a few more places, say at the intro or once it drops... id add a few more sounds randomly scatterd about the tune, like fx or stabs to spice it up a bit. overall i like it a lot. nice drum switchups

Looking for some feedback on my tune in my sig. its it mixed down properly? have i over used effects/ compression. source samples any good? that kinda thing.... Thanks in advance

@Kilo beats - So far I haven't seen anything out of place. Loving the wobbles! The snare seems a bit weak compared to the overall track though; maybe a touch of reverb/overdrive or lengthening the decay could fix it.
@Basic A - Digging the ambient sounds. Only problem I see is the drums sounding a bit too midi, or crisp. It could just be me, but maybe if the drums sound more lo-fi or sampled, it would enhance the groove of it.
@3za - Soothing track indeed, but the drums seem a bit too lite for my tatste. Maybe it's what you aimed for, though. Overall, great track ^^

This is a basic beat I made, I'm open to suggestions to make the song more interesting. I wish I had something more to bring to the table, but this is probably the only song I made in December so far XD

@ Thuun - proper heavy track. Could imagine this destroying the dance. Leads/bass remind of the older Nero stuff.

@3za - intro longs it out a bit, but the main bits pretty cool. Maybe some harmonizing with a subtler second lead on every 8th bar or so?

@abs - proper nice vibes on that tune. Everything sits well nice and that little string bit sounds big.

New one from me, less melodic cheese, more aggy halfstep.

@soosh21 love the loose feel of the hi hats and bass guitar or whatever it is :). The vocals are really chilled also and love it when the female vocals kinda come in really quiet at certain points. I havnt got much feedback to give as I dont do this much myself but Ill also add I love the offbeat clicks in the beat, gives a swing to the beat.

@daddy mchectic - love the sound of this, feels both slow and kinda fast at the same time. Love the synth sound also on the bass line. Id maybe take out the sound fx kinda thing on every first beat sometimes but thats personal preference, gives it a weird kinda vibe actually now I think about it. Really like this!

@ilv1 wow this is crazy, love it. Maybe sometimes in my opinion the lfo-ing gets confusing when you are changing notes quickly in the melody. Also maybe a few too many snares for me before the 1:30 drop, but it does make it sound awesome when they drop out for the drop AT 1:30

Heres my one, I posted it on the dubs forum but it kinda got hidden beneath dust :). Its very melodic to begin with but kinda gets harder at the end.

@jeeruff - "Steve Wonder - For Your Love remix"
wonderful percussion work, love that intro, drop is amazing, the vocal fits in perfect! Can't really find anything to improve, big up!

@Jack Matthias
great intro haha! Drop is smooth but still aggressive, and then it gets harder, I maybe would have added some melodic variation or something, but its still great as it is! Keep it up

@arktrix
the drop sounds a bit like something Burial would have made, great percussion work. Bass is dirty but smooth. Keep it up!

here's a track I just made, upcoming release probably
