edit: although after listening to that soundcloud link it looks like you're more after amen style/jungle influenced stuff?

Early Vaccine (on hotflush), Pinch & P.Dutty - War Dub (tec001), Moving Ninja (tec002), Armour - Iron Man (tec009), Milanese, Gravious - Wormsign/Monolith ,
Look outside dubstep though, there's more break artists doing dubstep inspired stuff than vice versa these days (cloaks, Deadfader, basicly anything on the 3by3 label). There's a ton I'm forgetting right now. Early Boxcutter perhaps, but getting the entire Vex'd discography is a must.
And also, check my soundcloud : we work with a lot of breaks as well. Dark dubstep with breaks (usually in second drop to keep it interesting). Will upload a new tune soon.
ID, Boabinga, Skinnz have some truely immense breaky stuff. Some old Distance as well

I guess yeah. I'm just after really maaad breaky stuff with some nice grime-esque/bassline mid range bass in there, kind of like Bracket- Unrequited if you have heard that?
Edit: Not as crazy as the stuff as Squire of Gothos etc. I'm being quite picky really aren't i?
Double edit: Like this guy Soundcloud I know it's a very niche sound (no pun intended) but any underground artists that people know of would help...

not so sure about the midrange bass part but there's lots of amen breaks stuff in this thread
coin operated records have some more jump up/tearout 140 bpm breaks/jungle/hybridy kind of stuff that might suit you well too. bracket has some tunes on coin op and you might like kanji kinetic as well
Still the other thread was just about a you tube channel the guy was starting up, not really ram-jam full of reccomendations, I checked it and it helped.

Toasty - "The Knowledge" 12" - one of my all time favorite tunes and a fine example of the sound.
You know, there was a Breakstep forum (http://www.breakstep.co.uk I think?) that tried to get up and running a couple years back and just didn't seem to have the audience, which is a shame 'cuz they did some cool stuff like profiles on Stormfield (of Combat records.) Looks like that site migrated here but hasn't really been updated recently.
Oh, and here's the first DSF thread from 2006 asking for moar of this sound...
