Hi everyone, newbie here.
With christmas drawing near, I was wondering if you guys could recommend any decent dubstep compilations?
I already have MOS: The Sound of Dubstep, Generation Dubstep and Getdarker: This is Dubstep 3.

Recent or old ones?
If you don't mind mixed comps : All the dubstep Allstars on the tempa label are pretty much insta bag material.
Not mixed : Hyperdub Presents 5 years of hyperdub.
More recent compilations (2010) :
Scientist Launches dubstep into outer space (perhaps the "dubstep originals" will do, you can get them digital.
Worth The Weight : Bristol dubstep classics (from punchdrunk) is a also a good spread of the sound.

I'd have future bass by soul jazz on any current list of comps at definitely deep medi 1&2
both this year

Ah cheers, i'm not a big fan of ambient/chilled dubstep, so will these compilations get me my wobble-fill?

hmmm, I'm not sure you'll get enough wobbles out of those. There are some serious heavy sub-bass tunes on there. But I do think there are better compilations out there for wobble.
J Da Flex & El-B present Nu Levels has some more wobbely tracks in there. The dubstap allstars compilations do have their fair share of wobble tracks though.

Oh right that's cool then.
I also don't like Rusko-like wobbles. I'm generally quite fussy when it comes to dubstep haha.

I'm going to mention Dubstep Meditations, I really rate this one, never see it mentioned.
EDIT May not be what the OP is looking for but it's still a good comp

this
Edit: especially dubstep allstars 7. Its recent (ish) and probably will showcase about 50 artists on there for you so if you like the sound of their tunes, you can go search for more of their shit. A complete range of styles on there too..
