question about LOL - LOL Part 1 (NONPLUSLP2)

first heard this project at the intro of Instra:mental's FACT mix a while back and it seems to be set for release soon.
thing i'm wondering though is why the preview for the last track 'White Noise' given here: http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/se ... NPLUSLP2P1
...is so drastically different from the track i heard initially on that FACT mix:
that track on the mix is pretty brilliant. kind of a shame that it's been changed, apparently.
any insight?
