WE'RE BACK!! As always bringing you the freshest sounds of garage, house, funky and everything in between... Kick off 2011 with the sickest night in your calendar - you can now catch us every last Wednesday of each month!

*** GEORGE FITZGERALD ***

Cited across the blogs as Joy Orbison's protege (and also one of the first signings to his distinguished Doldrums label), we have George Fitzgerald, producer and co-runner of London's Ma...n Make Music night. Located somewhere between house and garage, his sound has been described as 'dubstep through a Berlin lens'...

After appearing on the radar after his tunes appearing on 2 of the years most poignant compilation CDs (Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Electr*c and Scuba's Sub:stance), its no surprise George was later snapped up by Hot Flush to release his first 12" - his bootlegged remix of Groove Theory's 'Tell Me' has also recently found its way into the shops as a limited white-label pressing after huge demand. With another release on the horizon (alongside a remix from Scuba himself), it looks like 2011 is set to be the breakout year for this talented young producer, and once again Modulate bring you a Leeds DEBUT of one of the biggest rising stars in the UK!

*** SUBMERSE ***

Also stepping into the booth we have Submerse, holding it down as one of the true garage revival purists, so much so he was recently invited to host Ministry of Sound Radio's 'Essential Garage' show.

Although this man is no stranger to the radio... Submerse has been successfully hosting his own weekly show on Sub.fm for over 2 years, developing his sound and releasing a string of releases along the way. 'Hold It Down', released recently on Well Rounded, has been a set-closer for many top DJ's - just one of the many epic garage anthems he has up his sleeve. With the influx of people wanting to listen to his latest material its not uncommon for his tunes to top Soundcloud's 'Most Popular' listings in just a matter of hours! Did we forget to mention he's also producing for the Klaxons' new album? Oh yeah, he's doing that too. Big. In. The. Game.

*** RESKETCH ***
Just added to the line-up!

*** MISTA MEN ***
Fellow Yorkshire dwellers the Mista Men are also at hand to bring some heat to the dance-floor. Their sick new 12" 'What U Do To Me" is out soon on Greenmoney Recordings, backed by a heavyweight remix by Well Rounded's C.R.S.T.
