Howdeedoo? I'll start off - Mine is Voodeedoo; I got it from an internet cartoon called Neurotically Yours [foamy the squirrel :P] and one of the episodes was called VOODEEDOO

PS: Mine didn't really have an interesting story behind it XD Hope this is different for most people.

A mate gave me the name JFK. I kept it because it looks good on fliers....

2) It's an acronym for "What an Ugly Bastard"

3) I was working in a shop during Uni on Saturday mornings and would often come in a bit worse for wear straight from the club the night before. One time the manager brought his little boy into work to babysit as his missus was out somewhere. The kid took one look at me, pointed and said "Eyes, Wub Wub!" and ran off. I got called Wub Wub for ages after and it got shortened to Wub.

Bolsty - use to write Bolst as a graffiti word, got the nickname Bolsty.. go figure

Jem always gets spelt a "Gem" which is just ridiculous for a guy.
Think it's quite possible I am named after an Ibanez Jem, though as we were both created in the same year which I suppose is less camp

used to do a lot of coke and deal it, saw how rail thin and sickly looking i had gotten in the mirror, sounded kind of dark which was style i was doing at the time and i wanted to change my production alias at the time anyways so it served as a reminder and kinda like a mental badge to wear

drown in dreams i came up with just because i love the deep ocean and such and everything is better in dreams, plus it is a nice play on words that fits the downtempo/ambient vibe

Don't really like my production name much as lol i hardly even dj
but just before i got into production was djing a little
and when i got into production did think much for an alias just though of going by myreal name and adding Dj at the end of it
recently i've signed to couple of labels and decided am just going to stick with this name only for dubstep as i've made a few free download tunes in the last year also as Thierry Le Dj but been getting into producing bit of trance lately my alias for that is Thierry D

Bowzer: kinda gay. probably gonna change it... but i got it at my first rave when there was a red strobe on me and i was making a thizz face listening to dubstep for the first time.

Basic A. = Childhood nickname, got it after me n a bunch of friends joined phone losers and started using it to keep up with each other outside of school (bear in mind this was before im n shit was big, windows 3 and whatnot...) The username I picked got abbreviated down to Basic A. and it caught on in day to day life... I still call digital 'dig' too haha... Basically... name was my name before it was my name.

I was at a party one night and there was just a shit load of people and these kids ended up coming over all on mushrooms trippin the fuck out, and they ended up leaving one of their friends there all by himself and never came back, the kid left behind was friends with the kid who I went to the party with, and we were going to stay at my house so me just being nice I let him come with.

Which was a good decision cause he is now one of my best friends, but how I got Trebek, is he always thought it was my last name, for the next few times I seen him he would always call me Trebek and I was just like wtf man where does Trebek come from and he's like "thats not your last name? " Which its not even really close to my last name......So him an all his friends all call me Trebek and have for the past few years.
