I really just don't get it! Beyond it being some kind of head nod towards the physical form of music instead of digitial media, and an attempt at creating something that will not be available to download from the internet at all. But, if anything surely it highlights the wonder of digital media, as...100 people round the country dig out their old tape deck and go "yep, that sounds ropey".

Fully understand it as something ben would be interested in being a part of, but I don't get the theory behind the series at all! Mixtapes as a collecters item? I dunno...im confused...

Just copped one. I'm a real sucker for anything that has 'only 100 made' on it. But big up Ben UFO each and every. I've seen some house djs start doing cassettes. Can you give an intro as to what's in the mix?

I like mixtapes, the fact that they aren't posted all over the internet kind of makes it a bit more special. I have some wicked tapes that Jamie T used to throw out at his old gigs and a mix of old house/trance/techno by DJ Aztek from Spiral Tribe!
