damn right, the fatcats have been running things for too long, now the kids of this next generation begin to realize that the only way to guarantee your rights as a human being is to demand it by force!!!

I think it's just the begining too. . .
I wonder what the next year will bring.

tbh I don't see how people like Berlusconi become leades of a country.
It reflects poorly on the people who put him there.

Ah, a proper riot.

UK students, take note! Flipping off the BBC whilst wearing a balacava and a wax jacket does not make you badman.

Italys police look a lot less organised.

Nutters in helmets and bomber jackets running around with truncheons.

I say we make a petrol moat round the houses of parliament.
Mr Fawkes would be proud.

thats just the point, the people who put him there are surely paid to do so, the guy owns most of the telivision channels and most newspapers here, and all they ever go on about are his propoganda bullshit...

goverment in italy is a complete farce...

serious man, the guy won by three votes when three people from the opposition switched sides at last minute, strangely enough the police was prepared for a riot like they already knew, there was anti riot tanks all over the place in rome, they just didnt expect the rioters to be so many and so organised....

Rahhhh!

Solidarity from the UK

It's funny that Italy has a reputation for being corrupt - they're just a little more transparent! They have a judiciary that reflects quite broad social backgrounds and are a little less afraid of rocking the boat and exposing people than our gutless lot. Not to go over the top with praise though!

Things may well be getting interesting but people need to quickly start seeing themselves as agents of history and not spectators, or history might end up biting us all in the arse.
