Of course its made up on the spot, its my opinion, there isn't going to be a genuine statistic for something like that is there, i find that generally they find it hard to accept new things. I fixed it for you, I'm not starting an argument or anything.

regardless hes putting out tunes that are better produced and better thought out in terms of theory than any dubstep producer or in fact any producer of any electronic music regardless of what you prefer the man is writing edm that is more musically sound and better produced and mastered than anyone doin it. everyone can keep hatin on success cause they prefer to be on the fringe but there is not a single prodcuer puttin out the same quality of music and no one can argue that. everyone is free to enjoy other shit more but skrillex is writing shit far more complicated than any other producer and he manages to write music that is actually sound in terms of music theory something which most producers especiially of dubstep dont understand. the dude is a genuis his mix downs are perfection he has set a new standard in terms of mastering tunes every frequency is on point . mastermind with a computer and a musical staff. sad t think this dude is puttin out tunes that rival classical in composition but most djs and producers (especially of dubstep) dont understand the concept of a musical key.

who you enjoy is def an opinion and not something im tryin to change. Skrillex though is talented hes doing far bigger things and far bigger productions than any of us are. in terms of being a composer the complex melodies in hey sexy lady or scary monsters and sprites are pretty damn impressive. alot of producers nowadays use one note on one synth ocsilatting . that isnt a composer. skrillex synths may be some what cookie cutter at time in the sense that hes using sounds that are popular but thats kind of a stupid charge seeing that any of us who produce have used an lfo to make a wobble so are also therefore using a "Standard" sound. Skrillex regardless is puttin out tunes with better instrumentation than alot of people . there are producers of every genre getting away with putting out shit htat has no tone at all only gutteral sounds wiht sub bass that everybody can make skrunched faces too.i guess what im sayin is that talent deserves respect and this man is doing something no one of any of the genres has done yet . its new. its different. and regardless of if you like it inovation deserves respect. @stuntman actually i have many of resos releases . his work is actually what got me into looking into alot of dnb and what not. although i think he is great i dont think his shit is more musically sound than skrillex. i just think skrillex is doing something different and should praised for the creativity of his tracks . Maybe his drops are too "mainstream" but his melodic parts and builds are setting a new standard and that deserves respect . i dont understand why as soon as somehting is succesful its "not cool" but everyone will play the track. well made music is well made music . it should be appreciated. also to label me as likin "bangin electro" i dont know if i would so narrowly label my intrests or ever use the word bangin but if you mean i like 4x4 with heavy bassline yea i would consider that one of my main intrests yet i grew up listening to king tubby and other dub, alot of punk rock , angsty emo like bright eyes , im not closed minded and i can see the values in all kinds of music. to be honest there are some bon jovi songs that float my boat. i guess what im sayin it just cause i like "electro" doesnt mean that my knowledge of music or intrests are confined to that. this is art and it is opinion and i dont give a fuck if no one "likes" skrillex but to denie his talent and when none of us could dare to put out somethign of the same sonic quality whether it be mastered or not , in my opinion is simply ignorance and jelously. skrillex is gonna continue to be a huge presence in electronic music for a while , many of the producers whos tracks we are all playin now wont last out another year of popularity. no matter your marketing scheme you cant succeed in electronic music without some substance to your work. he may be well marketed but there is a reason everytime you drop skrillex a dancefloor erupts . in terms of thinking of dubstep as "dance floor fodder" your right stuntman i do. i think all the music we are putting out and playin is dancefloor fodder regardless of genre. i didnt get into this for people to sit in there rooms and smoke pot and listen to my music . i got into this for kids to dance. and thats all im gonna continue to try and do
