Name this VST plz

So I've always wanted to get this "zipper" effect in my lead synths like Dada Life manages in all of their tracks. In this video below, the camera zooms in and shows a couple VSTs. I know that one is a Sonalksis, but what is the one with the pink sausage? I'm looking for a VST like that. Does anyone know which it is? It could be custom made by them.

No idea what the vst is, but there's absolutely nothing in that video that requires a specific vst. Too many people think that they have to have a specific vst to make whatever sound it is they hear someone use. Just because datsik uses Massive or whatever, doesn't mean that if you get massive you'll be able to make music like him. Forget about what the vst is he uses, and instead look into what it is that is used to create those types of sounds.

Hmm, it looks to be like its just a custom matte on top of something that was made himself. Its possible its just a VCO oscillator? They can have a buzzy saw like that, mainly because they are modeled off of modular synths(hence VCO type) ive actually created a similar Plugin using MAX for Live and Ableton, which are fairly easy to get sounds like that out of them. I suggest looking more into VCO's. Arturia has Moog Modular and ARP 2600, which have such synthesis capability. There are probaly others im unaware of as well.

Yeah, my buddy had suggested a mild bit crusher to recreate the 'ZIP' effect, but I think I'll check out a VCO synth.

I find it gives a more processed sound, really makes your tracks sizzle if you overcook it just right.

It's a custom VST made by these guys;

Can't find much info on their homepage though.

Ummm forget about the VST - what in the world is the hardware device below his monitor? Looks badass... the one with the spectrum analyzer... anybody have a clue what that is?
