Looking for something a little different this New Year’s Eve? Well look no further as Camino present Sam And The Womp’s New Year’s Eve Hat Party bringing in the New Year in fine style with a high-energy Balkan, ska, dub, Latin and rave-out PARTY and a huge WOMP of gypsy-dubstep for pudding. Add to this the opportunity to book a table and enjoy a tasting menu in Camino’s excellent restaurant (mmmm!) and you’re in for a real treat.
Sam will host the celebrations with his merry 6-piece band of Wompers. The group formed last September and have already performed at Bestival, Big Chill Festival, Secret Garden Party, Ronnie Scotts and supported Beardyman at Islington O2 Academy earlier this year. They are creating their own unique brand of music they’ve nick-named ‘The Womp’ and their midnight live show is sure to get you dancing around like an idiot with a great big smile on your face.
Also performing on the night will be Aaron Audio the co-founder of the band and Bang Bang Tape Records head honcho who will be busting out electro, dubstep, Balkan, 2-step and beyond, Señor Miguan, director of Viva La Revolucion! At Ronnie Scott's, he knows his Latin beats, boogaloo, reggaton, samba, hip-hop, Balkan-beats, mash-ups, party tunes and beyond. Festival favourite DJ Cous Cous who brings the Gypstepswinghop vibes and the legendary Bobby Gandolf representing London's finest Afro reggae party collective Wormfood, playing dancehall, garage, UK funky and African-influenced bass music.
For those that do not already know Camino is the diamond in the rough, the oasis in the urban wasteland that is Kings Cross. If you like fine food, great beer, even better cocktails and a fantastic atmosphere then Camino is a must.
This is a hat party so do not forget to bring your hat! There will be prizes for funniest craziest hats on the night!

Early-bird tickets go on sale from Monday 15th until Tuesday 30th November priced at £15 from Wednesday 1st until 31st event tickets will be £20. There is a limited amount of Restaurant Tickets (60) going on sale for £60, which alongside entry includes a tasting menu and glass of cavabubbly. As an added bonus, Camino will offer a £5 token to every customer who arrives before 10pm and remember, this is a hat Party – Hat’s a must.
