or lack of them.
I'm not being funny, but there seems to be a lot of producers making downbeat tunes (maself included) which you can barely skank to, nevermind dance to.
Everytime i mention grime 2 any of ma m8s, they get the impression that its slow music, a bit like dubstep (not knocking, I feel dubstep gr8ly).
Yet i play them Jordan Riddim and they say ppl can't dance to that lol.
wot do u ppl think?
and by all means, name some danceable grime tunes, cos I wanna show ppl that grime isn't a slow ting, but I've not seen many tunes l8ly that appeal 2 ppl outside of bassline (yes I live up North).

Personally i find Grime's always been like that!
Unless your listening to EZ @ Sidewinder -moves arent really buss'd.
I'd actually say dubstep is more 'raveable' that grime by along way!...

course u can dance
it just depends on how u dance
if ur a pill head who likes to do them dances, then probably not
but if u just like 2 vibe to some good beats then of course u can!

Stageshow Riddim is absolutley fucked. I can't wait to hear it out. Kode9 tomorrow at fwd? Don't know if he'll have it yet though. Fingers crossed.
Also Joyride is a serious body mover. Duppy obviously.
Murkle Man, Sidewinder, lot's and lot's basically.
But yeah, no grime raves seems to be leading to no rave beats. Everyone's producing for mixtapes.

I can dance & skank or whatever to Virus Syndicate. I consider that grime.

It seems i can only skank out to the older bits
Dizzee - Strings Hoe
Macabre Unit - Sense
etc..
although.. few Skepatron bits get me going..
oh and when i heard Wiley - Nothing Less (Fightback 2) @ FWD.. the weight on that..
fucking god, made me love that tune all over again, corse it coulda been Plastic Ian fiddlin' with the knobs.. but id rather give Will the benefit of the doubt, his tunes normally are weighty..
does a tune have to have a serious/catchy melodica for it to be skankable..
.. Or can it be simple n hard-faced.. like some of the dub pieces these days..?
