again, another quiet good track that just needs a better mix down. if your running it through some mastering thing please remove and repost so i can have a listen to the actual mix.

Whats the point in removing the mastering, that is part of the 'actual' mix. And i don't use more than compression on the master, the tracks mix down is the most important part. Thanks for the feedback all the same, everyones got a difference in opinion. However, i'm pleased with the mix down so i won't be re-posting it

Hi, mixing down a multi track and mastering are two completely different processes and steps toward the consolidation of a musical project. So mastering it not part of the 'actual' mix process.

It's good that you feel the mix is the most important part, but to get an accurate mix down that will shine brighter once mastered shouldn't have have anything on the master ouput. It can cause over compression and lead to many problems at the mastering stage.
