Well the name ramadanman is pretty dodgy isnt it, not pc innit? There was some story about him getting booked to do a ramadan festival in malaysia or something aswell

I prefer the sound of Ramadanman to Pearson Sound. Rolls off the tongue...

Doesn't really matter anyway as long as the man keeps bringing out absolute heat.

I thought Pearson sound came first

same thing as scuba / scb or 2562 / a made up sound or the bug / pressure right? i figured it was because they want to portray a different sound under each moniker, but that's just my guess. pretty interesting.

i liked the separation up till blanked/blue eyes, there's no doubt who did that. the earlier pearson record on hessle had its own sound.

Ramadanman stuff, especially recently, is very difficult to set apart from Pearson Sound stuff if you ask me. Something like Blanked vs Work Them would be a good comparison. So similar.

I'm guessing it's because he doesn't like the name, and I can understand, even though it rolls off the tongue so well, especially now that people are saying it so much too. I think I read on a description of one of his singles on some record shop site or other that he was phasing out the Ramadanman name though, not that that's particularly official or anything, but still.

Probably for the reason that he did a whole Asian tour and the name understandably doesn't go down too well over there.

Chill out jesus, i was just curious... i know people produce under different alias' you mong, but usually it's for different genres.. hence my icicle/freeze point. rama & pearson sound sounds pretty much the same to me.. just seemed a bit pointless and i was seeing other people's views on it, seeing at this is the general disscusion board, if you don't care don't post?

Now i understand it's probably because of people in asia etc.. thanks to the people who cleared that up.

I had no idea Ramadanman was Pearson Sound. I'm also as shocked as I was when I found out Headhunter is Addison Groove.

He mentioned it when he was on Benji B's show, can't remember what was said exactly but it was along the lines of that he preferred the Pearson Sound name and gradually was phasing over to using Pearson Sound exclusively but don't quote me on it it was a while ago
