You're completely missing the point of this thread.
no I'm not, i know exactly what you are asking i just have a problem with the term "chillstep"
what's more, if you knew the first thing about dubstep then you should know that the more laid back stuff is where it all came from and that filth came later
do your own research man, i shouldn't have to tell you this
hey dude chillstep is a genre, it's more closely related to chillout and dub than. The only reason the name has come about is to part it from alot of the overly typical/samey stuff that makes up a lot of dubstep (the stuff that HAS to have wobble bass and nothing original). Kito, Burial, Eskmo are the few chillstep artist that i know of. They sound very orginal as well . Please post more chillstep artist (or chilled dubstep if you want to call it that) so we can all find some more cool original dubstep and spread it so dubstep gets even bigger
I suppose I'm not being productive, but isn't this like the 1000th thread like this? A quick search around the ol' forum and you'll find thousands of amazing, chill songs. It's fun! Or did I just feed a troll.

c'mon chillstep?. really. just because thats what you call it doesnt make it a genre. go try and browse through the chillstep section @ your local shop . Dubstep has lots of different feels to it, they dont all need a different name. especially ones that end in 'step'

Burial - even calls himself 2-step... like in the interviews and stuff... he says he has nothing to do with dubstep, and he wanted to bring a nostalgic taste to the 2step vibe.
Eskmo - Makes dubstep. Like as dubstep as it gets. Has a unique sound but that is dubstep. Some of it touches on hiphop, and welder branches into minimal tech, but eskmo, for the most part, is dubstep.
