Opinion on Rusko's older 'reggae' styled output?

Hi all.

I was wondering what the general view here was on Rusko's more reggae inspired tracks. Most are from his early days as a producer when a track would either be clowny jump up or something in the strain of digital steppers, dub reggae. His Lost Dubs giveaways had a few examples.
I personally really like them, being my favourites from his output. Primarily :

2007 - Acton Dread

2007 - Roma

2010 - District Line

...This last track in particular as it came out so recently, giving me hope for Rusko yet. -q-

So is there still some love around for the Rusko of yesteryear? Cause god-knows he probably isn't doing much nowadays to get support from the more hard-line guys round here. :t:

Here are other tracks I feel fit into the more 'reggae' rather than 'jump up' side.

2005 - Gyal Dem Inna Codiene Style - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_dEg_4Pq3Q

Lions paw is a really good tune, even tunes like hammertime are still pretty good fun, rather listen to them than some of the stuff been dragged out now. Gotta love the bassline on cockney flute remix!

Love Dubby Rusko. YEars ago I played with him at the Ocean Rooms in Brighton and he did a whole set of Digidub, was sick! There are a lot of other tunes I'd not heard back then but I dont know if that was under a different name? I seem to remember this was pre him moving to London which was around the time he met Caspa..
