ORCA RECORDINGS



Firstly I'd like to thank all of you who have supported the first two releases on Orca, both have been well received and we hope to continue this with 003. 'Phoenix' and 'Like Silver' made it into several of the top 100 releases of 2010 including XLR8R and Fact Magazine.

It has been a whirlwind year for XI, with the success of ‘The Ghost’ on Orca capturing the attention of many of the scene’s tastemakers including Mary Anne Hobbs, Loefah and many others. With his new outing on Orca, XI's musical style has evolved considerably to incorporate a whole new set of influences and ideas.

This new 12", featuring 'Gamma Rain' and 'Medicate' is a real statement of intent and is a step towards a much larger project he is working on for Orca for release later on in 2011, which will cross a variety of tempos and styles, including work from his Ultragamma moniker.

Strong DJ support has come from across the board, and includes: Untold, Sinden, Will Saul and Kito amongst many more..

Release Date: 31st January 2011

Digital versions will be available from all major online retailers including: iTunes, Beatport, Boomkat, Bleep, Napster etc etc
