What are some decent settings to put the vowel filter on to make it basically highjack the sound and make it very noticeable. From experimenting the best route I've seen so far is to put the filter after all the resampling is done outside of the split frequencies so it encompasses the entire synth, then cranking the resonance to 100, use a band reject filter, and not use overdrive. A problem I get though is on some vowels, especially the i it makes almost a screaming high frequency, which I expect is because of the resonance, but I'm not getting the sound without the resonance at full. I feel like I'm missing something very obvious and easy. Also I'm automating the vowel filter via full lfo so I think I'm doing that right at least

If it's after resampling have you tried setting it to follow the envelope as opposed to the LFO? can sound a lot more natural doing it this way

What what sound are you going for, bass/leads/etc? And what kind of tone are you looking for?
Give examples! We can't really help if we don't know what you're looking for.

Basically I was hoping to have a yoy sound that would have an effect similar to using an lfo on a lowpass filter, a sound that's drastic and basically highjacks the sound. This is cliche, but how would you go about obtaining a doctor p style yoy like in sweet shop or sick tonight.
Also I snooped around and found a super good description from basic a that I'll have to put into effect sometime tonight
