Reverse VST?

I don't know if any of you are familiar with the "dblue Glitch" effect VST?
It's a single vst with a range of effects which are:
tape stop, modulator, retrigger, shuffler, reverser, bitcrusher, gater, delay and stretcher

What I was wondering is if anyone knows of a something that has a "reverser" effect, alone?
The reason I ask is because this vst is cpu heavy, and when I run it, I get laggy feedback.
I've searched, but not found :S
So please, anyone?

You can get glitch here

bounce the audio and reverse it in whatever sample editor you use?

There seems to be an awful lot of people asking for vst's that do a specific thing only these days.

Normally something which can be done in your standard sampler very easily.

It is sampled, I can't quite explain what it does to the sound, but it sounds shit without imo
I just need to get one of those :|

What daw you using? Explore the tools you have at your disposal man, im sure you can do it with what you already have, rather than go through the time consuming process of trying to find an alternative.

FL Studio 9.0

Been using it for a few years, pretty sure there's nothing that does the job

I have reversed and re-sampled the sound, it's this effect which adds to it

Thanks for this, you can't deny that it's dope being able to just hit a button, and that moment of audio flips, resample, reshample (in this case). :4:

nowaysj - noticed you are selling an SP404. Those things rule, I did a 10 minute mini mix the saturday just gone using just an SP404. Such a fun piece of kit. I wasn't bothering with any major build ups, I was just blasting the crowd with drop after drop after drop....Assualt on the dancefloor :5:

Anyway sorry for posting something totally irrelevent to the thread. but since I am here I will just say, I use the sample editor in logic to reverse audio samples. Its really quick and easy, never even thought about finding a specified VST for this purpose tbh.

Try the gross beat on realtime audio. It only works for one bar (you can't reverse the rest of the tune) but you can adjust the curve meaning you can slow to a stop and reverse like say vinyl.

If you want to reverse over a bar and are after the slow stop and reverse maybe sample the tune up to that point and load it into the wave traveller (i haven't tried loading large samples into it but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to) and just manipulate the curves to do what you want.

Hopefully this helps and I haven't just rambled about nothing

I know it sounds obvious but have you just tried using the plugin to sample that part you want reversed, ie bounce the reversed part to the track, then just run it as audio instead? That saves me a ton of CPU.
