what kind of synth/noise is this called i hear it a lot in club music. it start at 1:10 the high pitch synth sound.

I hear that sound a lot too. I think it is called Synth Lead. That sound is distorted to get that sound and effect by bending the pitch.

What is this sound/noise called?
