Soundcloud rightsholder issue

After I upload a song soundcloud are asking me whether I own this song and whether it is my own, I've no idea why.
Anyone else have this issue?

do you mean they sent you a separate message or email, or is it just the normal tos stuff when you upload?

When I uploaded I was redirected to another page which told me to send them a message if I am the rightsholder. I have and I've heard nothing back.

It's now saying that it has "one toke over the line" in it and it's a copyright infringement, but it doesn't.

I've sent them a message asking where exactly is one toke over the line in my tune. No reply as of yet.

Hmm. Update us on whether they get back to u. I'm about to unleash my tunes and a soundcloud page was looking like a must have.

It is a must have, but god know what's happening there. I didn't even know soundcloud had one of those music detection things built in.

I've been denied uploading one of my mini mixes that contained Booty Luv - Say It (Nero Remix) already.

well it probably has some type of frequency and time analysis algorithm.
try pitching your song up a semitone or stretching it out even. for downloads sake. or give them big middle finger.

They didn't get back to me and five uploads were added which was massively annoying.
No apology or anything, but then again I suppose it's free. However it's put me off paying for it.
