Hello, how are u doing guys?
I discovered dubstep this summer, and I really liked it. It is actually the only genre of music that I actually liked.
The producers I like the most are Zed's Dead, Mt Eden, Nero, DatsiK and some of burial's songs.
Well, to get straight to the point, I wanna become a dubstep producer, but I don't know shit about producing music.
So, first of all, is it possible to happen? I mean can I learn how to make dubstep music withought knowing shit about music production? (I am willing to spend 3-4 good years of practicing)
Second, if the above is possible, what is the best software to produce dubstep? (I don't own a mac)
And where can I learn from? (I have completely no idea about producing music ) I have searched YouTube for FL dubstep tutorials, but I didn't found anything that actually helped. (Are there any DVD courses that I can download?)
So yeah, I think that this is pretty much everything. W8ing for ur replies guys.

If your just starting then reason is probably the way to go, I believe it is free. Then just play around as much as possible and combine this with finding internet tutorials etc.
If you look in the production forum there is loads of great stuff for a newbie.
Will take a long time for anything to sound remotely good. I have been messing about on/off for about a year and its all still sounds pretty crap lol
