Alright so I decided I would hand out the bass preset for my latest track after a number of people have asked me for it.

Used in the right context, it's pretty Skrillexy... I actually modelled it on a Bare Noize bass.
Whatever it reminds you of, it's used in this track at 3:22.

The bass is really simple, and seeing as not everyone has Massive 1.1.5, I've done a few screenies.


fig. 1) This is the bulk of what's going on, envelopes routed to the filters. This one doesn't wobble, it just opens and yells.


fig. 2) This is the envelope, you can change the speed of attack to make the bass faster.


fig. 3) Voicing tab to show you what I did to make the bass nice and wide.

I dont get what has this guy done in the past to deserve this kind of treatment...Is the preset actually a recording of his fart or something? I`m at work so cant dl it.

I dont hate the guy but its bad etiquette to ask for soundcloud comments or to force your tunes onto people.

Every threads an excuse to ask for visits to his soundcloud, thats it.

Filthzilla, if you crafted this from scratch yourself, fair play for giving it away.

But people will visit your soundcloud if and when they want to. Buttering people up first is no way to get the plays (and comments) that you crave.

No offense danny, but man there's a point where you gotta stop replicating sounds and start inventing some, it's probably because you shamelessly plug your tunes everywhere on here and most of us heard them when the original artists did it.

Respect for probably spending so much time working on it to just give it away, but you should let people be copycats on their own time, it really shouldn't be made easier for kids with cracked copies of FL to make shit tastic tunes that sound like everyone else. Do your part and stop handing out presets to a bunch of people who don't need them, and for everyone else, if you can produce a half decent track you should be able to knob twiddle your way to these sounds, these presets help nobody.

....Er, got a nice Donk out of it with a slight mod of the filter envelope!

He hasn't. He's asked that IF you like the preset and the sound - then you stop by his stuff cos it has similar shit.

wtf is wrong with a little self-promoting. He's giving away something for free - asking people to visit his SC if they like it isn't forcing shit. It's a polite way of advertising.

Some people need to pull their heads out of their asses.

I recommend you take your tune out of your sig - as it's forcing it on people.
