I'm thinking about starting a club night in the 3 counties area and just wanted to know who you would like to see and where you would like to see them? I should be able to get some funds so think BIG!

You've got Cambridge which as a couple of successful nights, Stink Like Sock and Bass Box, so be good to see nights in other areas like Luton, Stevenage etc...

seems that very little seems to happen in hertfordshire.

I'm between Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford.

I'd like to branch out towards hertfordshire as well, seems to be more people in that area!

There is a fairly strong dubstep contingent in the mentioned area. Would be good to see a "Decent" night ran around these ways. And when i say "decent" I don't mean in an established venue. Basically just make sure you can get a stuuuuuuuupid rig for it. So many other nights round these ways have failed trtying to do a night with a shitty "Liquid" standard system that does the music no justice.

How big is your bedroom?

200 capacity is all ya need imo (The more rammed the more vibes) unless ya looking at doing something really big. Then fack knows.

not very lol but a venue bigger than "the pad" or "the angel" or whatever its called now in bedford would be bangin...

Good luck starting an event anywhere bigger than the Pad.

You need to start small and build up the brand before jumping into anywhere bigger.

The Corn Exchange is HUGE! Too much of a risk I think.

Stink Like Sock is originally a home counties night- born in North Hertfordshire and our number one issue was venues, before we moved onto a large scale operation in Cambridge...
Due to its proximity to the Home Counties, lots of people make the journey up to Cambridge from our surrounding area, Luton, Bedford, MK, Hitchin..
Dubzilla has been established in Bedford for some time... and Infraction in Milton Keynes, aswell as the ICU Audio nights, and also Delete in Hatfield at the forum I believe...
nights are there but you need to look for them, the Home Counties has a wicked Dubstep following

good luck trying anythinng in Stevenage or North Herts without a lot of work.. and not a lot of return

being from stevenage, i think that placing it in another venue that isnt liquid/envy would be a good start. im not too sure how big the dubstep following is in stevenage but you would probably get a good response by having a dnb/dubstep night. the sound system has to be on point though, so i suggest getting some funktion ones!!

I'm from Bucks and there is pretty much no scene whatsoever that is gagging to be squeezed. Who ever puts their head on the line to put something on, would be doing Bucks a huge favour! Choosing the right venue and getting a decent system is key and I'd be happy to help promote and get some people in!

night in Hitchin tomorrow, and i've been booked for something in Luton aswell... and Dubzilla are doing a bigger ngiht at corn exchange

Yeah I've got things in the pipe line. Luton on the 17th June (keep your eyes peeled) and hopefully branch out to MK as well!
